Testing the Bike: Riding from Denver to Aspen
I started my trip with a two-day, 800-kilometer ride through the breathtaking Rocky Mountains of Colorado, from Denver to Aspen. This wasn’t just a chance to test the bike for my #RidingTheAmericas adventure—it was a step toward creating meaningful experiences that align with a vision of purpose-driven growth and significant impact.
Riding through the Rockies wasn’t only about the stunning landscapes or the thrill of the open road. It was a reminder of the importance of preparation, resilience, and connection—values that drive meaningful progress in any journey, whether it’s personal, professional, or on two wheels. Sharing this ride with my friends Luis and Stefany, their father, and sister added depth to the experience, emphasizing how collaboration and community amplify any adventure.
This ride reinforced that impactful journeys begin with deliberate steps and thoughtful preparation. Just as I needed to test the bike for the miles ahead, purposeful growth requires aligning actions with a larger vision. It’s about moving forward with intention, learning from every twist in the road, and building bonds that make the journey richer and more meaningful.
Purpose-driven growth extends beyond the immediate. It’s about connecting with the world, challenging yourself, and finding inspiration in shared moments. Riding through the Rockies gave me the chance to reflect on these values while connecting with the natural world and those around me. It’s a philosophy I bring to my leadership at Blue Coding—fostering an environment where growth is intentional, impactful, and grounded in collaboration.
As I continue this incredible adventure through the Americas, I’m reminded that significant impact doesn’t just come from where you’re headed—it’s shaped by the experiences you create, the connections you build, and the purpose that fuels every mile. This ride wasn’t just a test of the road ahead; it was a celebration of the journey itself and the lessons it offers along the way.
